Back to school anxiety
I think even if I had taught school for a hundred years, I would still suffer from this back-to -school anxiety. Every year, it feels like there is no way to do everything I need to do before the students come back. Every year, summer goes by a little faster. I'm just now starting to get used to being out of school for the summer. Oh well, I'm going to try to think of it as a new beginning.

I remember as a student having the back to school jitters. Nice to know at least some of the teachers feel the same way;-)
So, for my edification, what do you have to do to get ready for the students?
Anita, We would work all summer if we wanted to have everything done when school started. :) I actually get excited but this year I am apprehensive. I am concerned about balancing college and my classroom and my son. I am changing rooms which is good. I think I am really going to like the new one also.
